Summer Conferences in Montreat!
Two groups from Second Presbyterian journeyed to Montreat, North Carolina, this summer to explore scripture, enjoy fellowship, and deepen their faith.
Our youth group attended the second session of the Montreat Youth Conference. This year’s theme was Planting Peace. Along with the conference activities, our youth group also volunteered with the Asheville Youth Mission serving the surrounding community.
An intergenerational group from Second attended the Worship and Music Conference put on by the Presbyterian Association of Musicians each summer at Montreat! Our group members participated in the choirs and instrumental ensembles in worship!
