What to Expect
We meet at 11am for Worship in the sanctuary followed by fellowship and refreshments in the Chapel. If you cannot join us in person you can watch worship and classes on line HERE
As a first time visitor, you can enter the church from three main entrances. To park in the parking deck, map Second Presbyterian Garage 13 N 5th St, Richmond, VA 23219. You can come in the parking deck door and be greeted by a member of the church. Parking is free on Sundays between 8am and 2pm. If you park on the street you can come in the courtyard and enter through the atrium door, or enter from Fifth Street at the back of the sanctuary where there are also greeters. These folks can direct you to classes for all ages from 9:30 to 10:35 am (September through May) or to the sanctuary for worship at 11:00 am (10:00 am from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend). People at Second dress in everything from jeans to suits - all are welcome!!
Inquirers Classes
Are you interested in becoming a member of Second Presbyterian Church? On designated Sundays, interested inquirers gather in the atrium conference room for a time of getting to know each other and learning more about this church and what membership means. The class then meets with the Session (the governing body of the church) prior to worship the next Sunday to be received into membership.
We have a great Membership Committee who would be happy to answer any questions you may have or give you a tour of the church.
