Grateful for the Ministry of Rev. Paul Nalla

This year at Second Presbyterian Church, Paul has served as the Children’s Minister and Director of Urban Engagement.

As Children’s Minister he has led Children’s Sunday School with dynamic lessons focused on the biblical story for the week. Each week the children have explored the scripture through the different lenses of art, mission, and drama. Paul was also a part of the worship team for Family Worship, leading the service and the sacrament at times during the year.

As Director of Urban Engagement, Paul focused on our doorstep missions of Walk In and Showers. As a pastoral presence, he supported our guests, our volunteers, and our staff. Paul also teamed with members of the Mission and Advocacy Committee to strengthen our relationship with our mission partners. Coordinating conversations, drives, and volunteering throughout the year.

Paul’s ministry continues to evolve in Richmond, Virginia! He moves on at the end of this month to turn his full attention to building the new Telugu Language Congregation at Second Baptist Church and will be the lead pastor of this new congregation! We have been honored and blessed by his presence among us and whole heartedly support this expansion of his ministry in Richmond, Virginia. Prayers abound!
