Rally Day!

Welcome back from summer! Our church family celebrated the beginning of the program year with two adult church school offerings, Drink this Cup, with Roger Gench and Faith and Literature, organized by Dan Ream. The youth did great service to the church in setting up for lunch, then enjoyed conversation in the youth suite! The children began the year learning about their upcoming musical as well as studying Romans 13!

We said goodbye to Rev. Kelley Connelly after three years of ministry at 2nd Presbyterian church and UKirk at the VCU campus. Thank you for sharing your gifts in the ministries of 2nd Pres! We send you off to Highlands Presbyterian in Highlands, NC with love and prayers.

Finally, everyone enjoyed barbecue for Second Sunday Lunch. Tasty!
