Winter Walk In Collections - Can you help?

WINTER WALK IN COLLECTION

After two successful collections for Caritas and Real Life the Mission Council and Deacons would like to invite you to participate in our annual winter collection for our neighbors from Walk-In. Over the next three weeks we will be collecting new warm gloves, hats, scarves, and socks for our neighbors. While you are shopping you might consider gaiters that can be worn around the neck for warmth and also be pulled up on the face to cover the mouth and nose in this time of COVID 19. Checks with money to purchase these items can also be mailed to the church.

Additionally, since we are not able to provide a holiday meal for our guests this year, please consider donating a $10 Kroger gift card. The goal is to be able to distribute 120 gift cards in addition to the hats and gloves that will be gifted to our Walk In guests before Christmas Day.

Donations will be collected at the church from December 1st-14th, between the hours of 9:00-4:00.  Bins will be placed in the hallway behind the sanctuary and labeled WALK-IN. If getting to the church is difficult, contact Kate to arrange for a porch pick-up at your house with the Deacons' help.
